I'm assuming you mean the motorbike. It's just the bikers derived name: Suzy/Yammy/Kwacker..

In all my years of truck driving, I have never been able to find anyone who knows. In the US, where length regs are less stringent than here, the distance between the back of the unit and the front of the trailer can be several feet. To stop too much sag in the suzie's, they have a pole sticking up off the chassis to support them called a 'pogo stick', but again, no one knows why!
