Hello Guys, I Really Need Some Advice From People Working In The Uk . (Post Brexit) I Am Really Sad And After All The Research I've Done All I'm Left With Is A Lot Of Frustration And Hopelessness.

I am an 18 year old student in Romania, finishing high school in summer.

All of this time, I've been doing my best to get good grades , save money and participate in a lot of Erasmus projects . I've been doing charity work and developing my talent for art , music and languages. I speak three languages at a C1 level and I m very ambitious and hardworking. I've also been babysitting ,painting patterns on walls and selling drawings occasionally.

My dream was to leave this country and go to university in England; because I rely on myself financially, I was happy when I found out I could get a student loan and finally change my life.

After all of this hard work, I've been just punched in the face with Brexit rules. I've researched and researched, and I just feel like there are no options for me anymore. I can't go to Uni, because I don't have enough money even though I've saved so much, and my only other option is to receive a job offer to get a work visa.

My boyfriend of 1 year is British ,and we are just crushed at how little options we have to be together. We considered him coming to me, but it's too expensive for us to pay for his student visa .I don't know how to get a job offer and I don't even know where they would accept a foreigner like me. If I don t get a job offer, I'll have to work in Germany for years to get the money I need to be with my boyfriend and to study, since I don't want to use his money at all.

I don't know what to do, I'm desperate and I have no options. What should I do? How can I get a job offer? Please give me some tips I would really appreciate it.

Have you tried contacting a few universities and seeing if they have any scholarships/bursaries available or seeing if they can suggest a solution?

My issue is that I m sure if I apply for jobs normally, no one would hire me, since they can just find a British person to do it. Unfortunately, bursaries would not be enough to cover for my expenses, so that s not an option :(.Thank you for trying to help me though..

Many uni students take part time work to help them financially. Bar staff, waitressing etc.
You won't know until you ask.

Have you considered a move to the Republic of Ireland. As the country is in the EU, you'd have no problems with the right to reside, study and work there. Further, unlike many other EU countries you might consider moving to, you wouldn't face any language difficulties in Ireland.

There is freedom of movement (including the rights to work and study) between the UK and Ireland, which came into effect well before the EU even came into existence and remains in force after the UK left the EU, so your boyfriend could join you in Ireland without any problems.

I'm not sure where '90 days' comes into it though. You have the same unrestricted right to live, work and study in Ireland as you do in, say, Bulgaria, Serbia or Hungary (or, indeed, in your own country).

hello! I ve checked a couple of sites. My 90day concern comes from this:
Staying in Ireland for more than 90 days
You can stay in Ireland for any reason up to 90 days.

You can continue to stay in Ireland after 90 days if you can support yourself (& your family, if appropriate) financially.
This applies for my country. I m assuming i need to find work in 90 days to remain?

It might be best to try to find a way to get employment before you arrive in Ireland. However I've never heard of any EU citizen being ejected from another EU member state simply because they might have been there for more than any specific period.
