if the nurse get a 3% pay rise
and the pensioners get 8 %
both the nurses and the pensioners will have more money to spend
both the nurses and some pensioners will have to pay more tax and national insurance
when spending the money they will be paying more tax and paying more people for more services
the money does not go anywhere does it ?
just round and round making rich people richer but then that money will eventually trickle
down the system won't it ?
we are one of the richest countries on the planet
ok most of us would like more and some of us are quite happy with what they've got
how would giving nurses or teacher a living wage be any hardship of the governments finances ?
