Rover 2.5 V6 800 Sterling / 75
The key fob on my 2.5V6 800 Sterling no longer works. I have researched the subject and discovered that this is a common problem on the 2.7V6 Honda engine and relates to the PGMFi relay, which is located behind the fuse box under the dash.
I can't find this relay on my 2.5V6 engine, but have discovered a large relay numbered SCB100140 hidden behind the Central Control Unit (it is actually bolted to the side panel). Does anyone know if this performs the same function as the PGMFi relay on the 2.7 Engine.
Many thanks

You really need to take it to a Rover garage and ask them to interogate the central locking system (via Textbook if that's still going).
Some relays are cheap enough to replace as a trial and error, but there are some modules that cost a forture. You can even try phoning a Rover/former Rover garage and ask their opinion.
