fiat brava thermostat

Hi can any body help


my brava is over heating and only blowing cold air so i suspected the thermostat. But when i tried to check it i could not remove it from the housing and was wondering if it is a sealed unit ie do i have to buy it complete with housing. Thanx for any help.
