Why Not Look It Up
i know this is answer bank for literally asking anything but just wonder why when a member ask a question they don't google it to start with

But I can't criticise because I have done this myself - asked a question and somebody found the answer on Google. I think sometimes if the question causes any distress to the person asking it then it is some kind of comfort to share it with others and read the answers they find
It somehow validates the person asking the question and makes them feel they are understood

piper107.......you have my support on this Googling theme.
If you just want to chat then surely one doesn't need Google e.g GMEBs.
If you don't know the answer, then either don't post or say that you don't know. The problem is that the "don't knows" bang in a couple of words in their search engine , find a site and then post the link, with not a word of comment and to make it worse, often get best answers.
Some ABers just have to answer whether it contributes to the thread or not.
Certainly there are situations where a link is an easy option to the question but, not usually.
The whole system of Googling in respect of AB seems so impersonal.
