Peugeot Car Tax
I have brought my son a Peugeot diesel on a 58 plate and the car tax states its £30 a year how come? I have a little petrol Kia and I have to pay £155.00 a year.. How come surely his peugeot will be worse environmentally the mine - thanks and Happy Motoring

Oil burners have their place but that place is not in a car IMHO.
Tax rates vary because of differing Governments tinkering. If you buy a car over 40K (and lets face it not much for less these days) you have to pay another £150 on top. (Its to catch the EV's obviously as its based on list price plus list price of extras).
