Car Alarm Going Off Every Morning
9 Answers
I changed the key fob battery as I thought that could be the problem having looked it up but that doesn't seem to have worked. Before I go out to a mechanic can anyone on here shed any light?
Will check for responses later as I'm working at the minute.

Unsure about sun angles and insects? It's not in the shade and wasn't in shade at my old place either.
I have no idea why it happens in the morning and there are hardly any people walking past. It's off road on the driveway unlike on street at my old place which was a busyish road.
I don't think the alarm was enabled in the first place. There was a flashing red light on the dashboard but it never went off before. The only time it would go off was when I had issues with the battery in freezing temperatures and even then it rarely went off.
I had a new battery put in 2 years ago.

I don't know how sophisticated the Fiesta alarm is, so my suggestion might not be applicable to your car but a Vauxhall Omega I had many years ago had a problem with the alarm going off for no apparent reason. It turned out to be a sensor which detected the bonnet being opened which was set badly and the expansion of the bonnet with temperature was just enough for the sensor to believe it had been opened. It's worth looking to see if there are any such sensors on your car; wear over the years might just be enough to cause the problem.
