Audible Warning For The Lights On My 2014 Citroen Berlingo Confusion.

I leave my lights on my car all the time as they turn off automatically when I turn off the engine, however, occasionally they don't turn off and emit an audible warning that is only silenced by turning off the lights. Any idea why this is happening.
