If you are just flogging your old jam jar WBAC offer a hassle free way to do it for which you pay by accepting a lesser price. If you are a one time seller at an auction they'll take your pants down and give you a dam good spanking. Customers like WBAC negotiate bulk deals on fees etc. Basically WBAC buy cars off people who want a simple no hassle sale, add value where they can with small repairs, valeting etc, then they send them to auction and get what they can back usually it's a small but regular profit. I've sold a lot of cars mainly for a petrol head IT illiterate mate of mine and Ebay is the way I do it.
Thanks, TTT. I'm not selling but my neighbour has just sold his car to them and had we known he was selling it we would have bought it off him. An old car that's been molly coddled, properly serviced and has a lot of life in it.
I was hoping that WBAC had some sort of outlet that I could buy it from

barry - // Yes, I'm aware. The current offer is £800 more than the original, surprising for a 13 year old banger //
If it looks to good to be true ...
As advised, they will bank on the fact that you have arrived with your mind set on selling, not driving the car home again and having to start again, so they will drop the price considerably, and hope you will accept, rather than have to take your car away again.
Not everyone will, but enough will to make the system workable for them.
