A while ago I thought the nozzles were blocked so used a needle and managed yo break the end off in the nozzle...

The trick (not mentioned in Chris's link) is to aim them a little higher than the centre of the screen (car not moving obviously!). When the car is moving, the fluid will hit the screen several centimetres lower...how much, depends on speed.

I used to aim one of the jets over the roof. If someone tailgated me, I would give them a free screen wash. It was even better is they were in a convertible with the top down!

Electrochem, for non soft tops that is no punishment. I laugh my socks off when I see someone's screen wash missing their own screen.

Only one of the four jets (two each side of the windscreen) was aimed over the roof. It had the desired effect.

I now have a rear facing camera to deal with tailgaters etc.
