My Facebook Has Been Hacked I Don't Know What To Do?
Hi there I have been told by a couple of friends on Facebook that they have received friends requests from me I have definitely not sent them. So it's looking likely I've been hacked. Is this a problem? What's the worst that can happen if I ignore it? I don't actually know what to do it's never happened to me before. I've put a message up saying don't accept any friend requests from me

You've done what you can by posting on your wall advising your friends not to accept the friend request.
As Chris said your account hasn't been hacked, so they haven't gained access to your account - your account has been cloned.
If you can find the account in question, you can report it to FB and they'll close it down.
>>> "why would anyone want to cloner someone else's Facebook. Is it just mischief making or does it lead to scamming."
This is just a guess but . . .
If someone could convince Gordiescotland's friends that they were the real Gordiescotland, they could then message them along the following lines:
"Help! My bank has frozen my main account with them, due to what they're calling 'suspicious activity' on it, and they've told me that it might be a week or two before I can access it again. In the meantime though, I've got no money to buy any food with! I've got another account, which I can still access, but there's currently only a few quid in it. Could you perhaps lend me a few hundred quid to help me through the next week or two? (I'll pay it back as soon as I can, of course). The account number to make your payment to is . . . "
