'56 Proton Savy Problem

Hello, wonder if any of you have any thoughts or idea's on this problem. Proton Savy has failed its MOT due to a disintegrated front, offside shock absorber, its not safe to drive, but you can no longer get Proton Savy parts, their obsolete, the garage.. have suggested trying to make a Renault Clio Shock Absorber fit,  the cars in reasonable good condition, but not worth hardly anything, anyone have any views on this, Thank you.

You can get KYB Savvy struts from EU Spares.

Brilliant!  thanks so much, I hadnt bothered to look yet myself, the garage told me they couldnt get anything, thanks for your prompt reply.
