God I hate waking up and it's pitch black, thinking it's maybe 5am or close, only to realise that it's almost 7! Confuses the brain and body lol. Couldn't sleep at all lastnight - have loads on my mind. Nothing terrible, just 'things'.

Youngsmow messaged me lastnight tho - he'd gone for an interview at work for assistant manager and had just heard that day that he'd got the job. So he was very pleased. It's a pharmaceutical company that literally makes the drugs so he spends all day(or eve)kitted up in protective clothing, looking very hi tech lol. I'm so pleased for him - he deserves it.

Today, come what may,I am going to wrap the presents that I do have so far to post. I shud have 4 parcels - each one containing the presents for that household,Plus 2 separate friends and brother in law. Then brace myself,for the cost of posting each one! I'm certain not posting them first class! 
So what fun and games are we up to today,Who's going out and whose staying in?X

Good morning, well done to young Smow.  Don't envy your day wrapping the presents.  I am walking into town to buy the Christmas cards, will then have to spend the afternoon writing them.  They will definitely be sent 2nd class.  It is still a novelty not having task Mr U to drive me, having so much close by now.

The extra ktchen unit we ordered is arrivng today, it is a bit crowded round our sink and I am going to use it as a tea/coffee 'station'.

Yes I don't mind wrapping, when there's no rush! I was looking yesterday at these great giftbags that are out - designed to look just like wrapping paper, and are drawstring at top which ties into a bow. All different sizes - just pop whatever present in, pull and tie, takes seconds, and saves hours. And they're recyclable.
