How to replace an interior fan on a Vauxhall Astra

My interior fan packed up on my Vauxhall Astra, 1996, mrk 3, I think. Hence I have been driving with the windows down to keep the thing from steaming up. Have today bought a replacement fan from a breakers and need info on where to access the old fan to replace it. Is it through the dash board?
