I enquired about policeman who put wrong address on my speeding ticket I eventually asked a friend who used to be a superintendant of traffic police in my area and was told it made no difference to the ticket offence. The only time it would make any difference would be a complete number plate error.

So my thanks to you for your help and concern to my predicament

was it the wrong address for where the offence occured? if so you have a wrongly issued ticket, you weren't at that place that the ticket says.

but if p.c . plod has followed you for a while you may have driven in that street as he followed you, then it is a legal ticket.

if it's your home address then i'm not sure cos if he cant find you and doesn't have your licence details how does he know who you are? cars keeper may be worried though!!!
