I have a Mira shower (quite old) which needs a new shower hose. All the ones in B&Q, Homebase etc don't fit it. They seem to need a protruding screw thread to attatch to. It doesn't have this. It has a cavity which a screw thread on the hose twists into. Does anyone know where I could get this? Or is the shower just too old and I need a new one? Thanks for any help.

I had a similar problem trying to get a shower hose from the big DIY chains. I eventually got one through a local independent bathroom shop/plumbers merchant. If you take the old one in they should be able to advise you
do what i always do, look up the maker on google and then contact them for the replacement part, they are usually very helpful

I got some spares recently for my mir sport from the local mira service centre. There should be one near you. Or try ebay.
