Hi, I've not had much luck with cars recently. My little fiesta was reversed into and got written off as 'Cat. C' then I got a new car and crashed on the way back home with it. (thats a Cat. B, unfortunately) Anyway, enough story.

I want to get a VIC on the fiesta so i can put her back on the road. There was only minor damage to the front end, so the repair is easy. I need to check a couple of things...

1) Can I Re-insure the Fiesta and drive the the VIC centre myself, or will it need towing?

2) Will it need another MOT as It still has ~ 10 months left and the damage was obviously not extensive and couldn't have affected the cars roadworthiness. ( dented bonnet and misaligned headlamp - now fixed)

If anyone knows I'd be grateful for advice.

Well we've got several garages and have a trader's Insurance policy but have never felt the need to tow something there that can be safely driven. If you knew the car to be unroadworthy then it strictly speaking needs towing, if however it is only panel damage, no light damage, with no jagged edges then it's perfectly ok to drive it there. The MOT is nothing to do with the accident and will remain in force.Hope this helps.
Thanks noxlumos ;-)
