90 degrees would be about normal

my own car has scale meter where it tells you cold, normal, hot, it normally comes upto the start of normal on the scale as long as it does not get to hot :ie steaming from the radiator you should be alright but if you are concerned about it have a word with a mechanic he'll reassure you a lot better

what is highest temperature on gauge

with the automatic fan coming on it means the fan is working alright
the fan should only realy come on while parked. the airflow through the radiator should keep it cool enough while driving. if it coming on while driving i would replace it.
