I have a JVC Everio camcorder. The camera stores the videos in te .MOD file extension. When I want to download the videos to my computer, I copy and paste and then chnage the extension to .wmv so that I can play them in my Windows media player.

When I try to copy some videos I get an error message saying '' Paramters Incorrect''.

Do you know what this means or is there an easier way for me to download the videos so that I can play them in WMP? The software that comes with the camera includes its' own media player and I dont want to use this one as it is still stored in .MOD file type so that when I send the videos to friends they can't play them unless they have the correct media player.

Thanks in advance, Bubba
