My battery on a 1993 Escort had to be disconnected and I`m left with no radio. I have managed to loosen the radio enough to see it is a model 2006 and the SERIAL No. is L038782 can any kind person tell me the code from this. Many Thanks, Sam

garthy gave you the code for an 'M' serial number. As yours is an 'L' serial number try 7615.

VERY MANY THANKS, SKID. Sorry to be so long in confirming that it is the right code but radio would not let me enter anything and I was worried that between myself and previous owner we had exceeded the TEN attempts. However I then realised that maybe I had used up three on the M serial so tried leaving it switched on for half-hour as book. NOW WORKS FINE.
