I am considering leasing a car for personal use and wondered if anyone knows of any independent website that can give me all the advice I need to know before I make a decision. As I need to know if it includes tax and if it covers anything that goes wrong with it etc

you can lease a car but a pcp with maintanance if for you ,you have it with service or sevice and tyres but that can work out quite expensive you can take it over 2 ,3 or 4 years
i think you have to be registered for vat as well.
You can get personal PCP's too. Off hand, I know that the VAT on the whole amount of the lease has to be paid in advance.
Regards,
Steve

you DO NOT have to be registered for VAT to lease a vehicle under a Personal Contract. It is leased under your name (thus personal contract) and not a business name. VAT implications only apply in Contract Hire and Finance lease agreements.

Im a fleet manager and have worked in vehicle leasing.

Before I took a lease out on a car, I had a lot of questions because I didn't want to get myself into a contract that i could not opt out of.

I done some research online and unsatisfied with the information that I found, I decided to call one of the companies that I found for some information.

In the end I chose to lease a personal contact hire BMW with Vehicle Options because they offered me the best possible information.

If you also have any more questions you can find the information here.
