Stereo

I successfully swapped the battery in my car. However, the stereo won't come on now. All other electrics are okay. I am not being promped to enter a code. All ideas welcome !!!!!

could have accidentally blown the fuse for the stereo. Check the fuse and change if necessary.

Thanks mate. The fuse (on the fuse panel) is okay. Need expert help I think to check the stereo itself.

Its a Volkswagen Passat R-registration. The cd player in question is a jvc

when you bought the stereo there would have been a code number in the box with the other bits and bobs.you could try jvc if you can't find it.
