my rover 216 si 16 valve has a problem, the car runs perfect until its warm then when you press the clutch it shuts off the fuel pump an starves it, i disconnected the clutch cable so it cant be earthing through the cable, all earths from engine are ok and ive replaced the crankshaft sensor. but there is no wires near the gearbox and even the slightest pressure on the clutch lever the fuel pump cuts out, sounds very strange but its pickling my brain so wat do you think
