Mini Cooper soft top through carwash?

Hi,


I have borrowed my mum's mini cooper soft top and I would like to have it clean for when I give it her back. I am working all dy but could nip out to the car wash on my lunch break. The thing is, is it ok to put them through the traditional type of carwash with the big sprayers and huge washer brushes?

try your local hand car wash if you have one near you they are much better for the car then the automated car wash

I agree ~ soft top or not, the automatic car washes are not at all good for any car (in my opinion). Much better to do it by hand!

The auto car wash will damage the soft top, probably rip it clean off.
