Mercedes vs Scania Lorries

Why is it that the fuse box the information is in German when the specs is for the UK. And the Scania Lorries made for France spec are in English. The fault information on the dash of Mercedes is in a weired code when the language is set for English

Because the dealers want you to go back to them so they can charge the earth for repairs! This is why I will never have a truck with semi auto gearbox, 'cos if it goes wrong, you're stuck!

Rant over. Aren't the fuses shown by pictures as on most trucks (certainly my DAF)? As to Merc fault codes, they've been like that since the EPS gearbox came out in the mid 80's (see rant above!!).
