how i do improve the medium wave reception in a car

I have fitted a standard JVC radio cd player in my 1995 astra. The reception on medium wave is awful and I think I need to fit a supressor. How do I do this?

Mazda van - does it have 2 batteries?

Hello Mart123blue There is a Supressor that fits between the radio aerial plug in and the aerial plug. Also the live feed too the radio. Try that see how the goes.
