Personal Reg Nos
I am considering making an offer on a private number plate, with my 2 initials followed by No 1. Naturally it has a very high price tag, but they invite offers. Where should I start and what percentage of the asking price should I expect to pay?

The number is unique, irreplaceable and just think how you would feel if you lost the chance to buy it for a fistful of dollars which ARE replaceable.
If you can afford the asking price then pay it, before you lose the number.
If you can't afford the asking price then bid what you can afford.
I am not talking theory, but bitter experience.
