my peugeot 306 diesel won't start. It has battery power but thats about it. Any Solutions?

Hey, i had the same problem fixed yesterday!I dont know if i am being thick though (i have a petrol car where yours is diesel) but it was my starter moter. If you bang the motor (my RAC man did it with a pole...) it should get you to a garage at least....
