Train travel in the Italian Riviera (Liguria)

We will be flying to Italy but want to travel reasonably short distances along the Italian Riviera to different resorts by train. We have looked in the Trenitalia website but cannot find the information we need in English. Is there an Italian train pass that would be worth buying that covers the region? Any information would be appreciated.

There is the option on the site to change to English. If you look along the top of the Home page it says. English if you click that it brings it all up in English.

The Trenitalia website is a bit of joke. The server is often down and many of the links are frequently dead.

At the moment though, the site seems to be OK. Timetables, in English, are here:

To the best of myknowledge, there's no regional train pass available which covers your needs but Italian train travel is so cheap that this shouldn't present any real problems for you.

If you're travelling by rail in Liguria, make sure that you visit Rapallo. (Beautiful views, wonderful seafront restaurants and cheap boat trips to Portofino and Santa Margherita).
