I have recently bought a convertible car, but the only problem is the poor visibility from the canvas roof rear 'plastic' window, its very smeary and i am finding it a worry to reverse the car with the hood up cos I can't see very well through this window, is there a special cleaning fluid to combat this ?

All donations gratefully recieved.

www.frost.co.uk do lots of useful items for renovating classic cars, including this renovating liquid for plastic windows in soft tops

Got a slightly better view thro' a Vybak (plastic) rear window by using Brasso. Try a small area first. It will never be perfect. There are companies who can replace the window, but I've no idea who and to what cost

Hi there,

Definitely try Frost, they do a product specifically for cleaning up convertible hood windows :o)
