I am visiting the Republic of Ireland for a 2 week holiday. Will my UK Roadside/Relay/Home start cover for this country be ok for breakdowns over there.I have tried asking the AA and all they are interested in is selling me 5 star European cover at �32 per week, whereas a colleague of mine says don't bother as my UK cover will be ok. thanks.

I hope that your colleague will offer to reimburse your expenses if your car breaks down in Ireland. His information is wrong!
