Which car do I sell? Help please!
4 Answers
Please bear in mind I'm not loaded, but I've ended up with two cars at the moment. One of them is a Rover 600 2.0 Turbo diesel which is an R reg (1998) with 105,000 miles on the clock and I bought for 1,500 about 4 months ago and I've had serviced, changed the cam belts, put four brand new tyres on and had MOT'd very recently. The other is a Rover 75 1.8 (petrol) which is a 54 plate (late 2004) which has only 1,200 miles on the clock and I bought for 9,200 about two months ago. I've had it serviced and as it's such low milage everything on it is pretty much new.
I'd like to have the money for the 75 as I think I could sell it for about 7,800 - 8,500 and that would pay off a loan BUT the 600 is only worth about 1,200 so I couldn't pay off any debt though it does need a new turbo in the next 1,000 miles or so.
Any idea's welcomed, though please don't just insult Rover's as I like them! I need to sell one as I can't afford road tax and insurance for both for any longer.

My heart says keep the 600 as I really enjoy driving it, but my head is saying the 75 as it's newer and should be more reliable.
Sounds like a luxurious position to be in, but it's not (I bought the 75 as the 600 had a problem with the injector pump which has sorted itself out so I now don't need two at all!) and I could do with some cash quick :o)
