Hong Kong and Melborne
Hello fellow travellers, I would be grateful for any information from anyone who knows Hong Kong/ Melborne. I won a holiday in April to these two places with Qantas airline, and staying at Langham Hotels and will need to book some dates, would be grateful to know
1, What is weather like in November
2. How would I get from Hong Kong airport to Langham Palace Hotel.
3. Hong Kong dollar would I be able to get these from ATM at airport ? Meals not included what sort of price for a meal/coffee.
4. Places to see of interest in Hong Kong,
5. Same as above but for Melborne to Langham Hotel and the Australian Dollar cost of things.
Thanks a lot, am a bit hesitant about going but seems a good prize and should be interesting.
6. what adaptor would I need for electric for both these places
7.How to get a visa for Melborne 7 days there. Thanks

I <think> Hong Kong uses UK plugs. Australia has its own, so you will need a plug adaptor. The voltage is the same, so no problem there.

Congratulations! That's a great prize, have no hesitation! November's a good time - the HK monsoon is over and it's generally warm and sunny; much the same in Oz, where it's spring. Wide variety of eating places, and prices, in both cities but generally you should find it a bit cheaper than the UK.
