can you please tell how i remove the safe code on my screen.i have the radio code but it will not let me enter the code. help phil

if disconnecting the battery for an hour will not let you put the code in from fresh, then it will need to be professionally reset, (ie vx dealer or car audio dealer)

'safe' appears because someone has used all 3 attempts at putting the code in and got it wrong each time, therefore locking the radio. this is the security feature, so thieves cannot keep trying codes till they stumble onto the right one.
