I have a 1998 R-reg rover 200 1.4Si 16v. The engine has cut out twice on me in the last two months. The first time i thought i stalled it as it happened while i was changing down into 2nd gear and i thought i may have accidently put it in 4th and tried to pull away. But at the time i was sure i put it in 2nd. It did the same thing again today. This is the second time. I most definatly had my foot firmly down on the clutch and i most definatly put it into 2nd and it cut out while my foot was on the clutch. does any one have any ideas?!?!?! oh and it re started each time after with no problems.please could you email me @ [email protected] with any answers, thank you!!!
