What now?
My V reg courier van I bought for 1200 2 months ago has been in the garage more than not. So far I've spent 1400 on repairs. Now it is in the garage an the garage wants 900 to send fuel pump away and to have it repaired, put back on van and put on a new set of timing belts. It went in with a faulty immobiliser. What should I do now as I don't think the van's worth 900

It went in with a faulty immobiliser. It's ok to start but if you restart it within 10 minutes of stopping the mobiliser doesn't get recognised. The garage said the computer said it was a fuel pump theft shut-down and the fuel pump needs taking off for investigation. Bill so far 60. The time to take off fuel pump and send it away 175. To have the timing belt done about 120. To have the original fuel pump repaired and put back on and the total comes to 900. I asked around for local garages and auto-electrician's and nobody wanted to touch it, so I had to take it to a Ford dealer.
