Red-ex

M reg Corsa in for MOT next week. Though I've got no reason other than vehicle's age to be worried about emissions it has been suggested that as a precaution, the day before the test I put in �5 petrol and add the appropriate amount of 'Red-ex'. Then embark on a 10 mile blast up the motorway. Is there any truth in this?
