A second hand family car

We're after a new car (second hand for us), that's no more than 4 years old with approx, 50,000 on the clock. Hubby would also like Sat Nav!!!! We've been looking at Peugeot 406 estates - because we like the estate look (and they're roomy). However, no-one seems to have any. We really want to stick within a budget of about �6,000 - but will go a little over for the right car. Can anyone suggest another car we might like instead? I'm getting fed up with searching the internet day after day for a car we're clearly not going to get!
