Gearbox/Clutch problem?
4 Answers
Hi everyone. I have an R reg rover 200 (diesel), I've had it for nearly 4 months and i've just noticed something.
When i put it into reverse it sort of 'clunks' into reverse: like when you don't have the clutch properly depressed and you grind the gears, even when the clutch pedal is fully down. As usual for things like this, i'm not sure if it was doing this when i first got the car, but i have a feeling that it wasn't. If this has come on recently can anyone tell me what it might mean for the car, could the clutch be wearing out, or the gearbox be dodgy? and depending on what you think it might be can you tell me if its an expensive job??
Cheers!
