What model and make are the police cars used in the Blue Lamp?

i do remember, in the 60's general purpose police cars, known as Panda cars, were Morris Minors!

I think they would have been Wolseys in The Blue Lamp - they had numbers rather than names - 14/40 and such like

According to Martin Buckley's excellent 'Cars In Films' book, the Police cars featured in the film were Humber Super Snipes and Wolseley 18/85s.

Aren't the Humber Super Snipe and Wolseley 18/85 more 1960's cars? The film was made in 1950.
