Has anyone alse noticed signs that are basically just lying? I saw some signs saying average speed cameras on the motorway (why don't they buy good ones?!) but there wern''t any. Matrix signs that tell you of a hazard when there is none and signs on corners warning you the maximum speed is 25mph but it isn't legally or physically?

Is anyone else beginning to doubt thier trust in road signage?

Know what you mean. I hardly ever take any notice of the small matrix signs on the central reservation because there never seems to be a hold up when they say there is.

On the other hand, I've found those big new overhanging gantries to be annoyingly accurate!

well im a hgv driver and always slow down for the matrix signs because ive ALWAYS found they're on for a reason.
i laugh at the idiots that flying past then slamming the anchors on when they find a holp up in front of them.
