renault clio wont start!

I have a T reg clio and nobody knows what's wrong with it! Brought it in Nov '05 and twice when I tried to start it it wouldn't, left it for a bit and it would then start. Stopped doing this until last month, whilst going round a roundabout the engine cut out, started again but didn't feel right. 2 days later just wouldn't start at all! The car has also been reving its self when it's not moving! The garage has had it 4 a month now and even renault don't know what's wrong with it, i'm running out of money! Help!
