my fiesta wont start, there's no turn over, just a rapid clicking sound. is this a problem with the starter motor?

Flat battery.

Or a bad earth connection from the battery to the body somewhere or even just corrosion around the battery terminals, try cleaning and tightning the battery connections and see what happens.
