Some lovely(!) person has dented my bonnet with a chisel, so there is a dent about 7cms across, and the paintwork has come off! Do I pay to get it fixed and repainted (metaillic blue) (how much would this cost?) or would it be cheaper to replace the bonnet? My car is a 2002 citroen saxo

I recommend these guys - www.chips-away.co.uk

Ask them to come round and give you a quote. Compare that to the cost of a fully sprayed bonnet.
to resray the bonnet would cost about 200,to get a bonnet from the breakers about 50/70,but you need the right colour, these chips away and dentmaster people are very good for small dents etc,but not for bigger ones
I used Chips Away for a dent above my headlight, but the guy told me they don't do bonnets. The respray option is a total rip off, so I would try and get a new bonnet myself.
