I took my test in Southport darkstar, the test centre was up near the bridge near Tulketh Street. Can't remember which instructor I used though. (that was 1974 lol)

Hi Dot: National Driving School was in Yellowhouse lane the next road to test centre. I was Chief Training Officer training new Driving Instructors for NDS we had schools in...Southport, Rochdale, Cumbria, Kent, Bristol Lincoln, Doncaster, Preston and Hull training new Instructors.
