As an MOT inspector i do not see many cars untill they reach 3 years old.
But what i can tell you is that from my point of view i dont recall any common problems with these cars and do not see any patten in the failure items.
indicator bulbs blowing, it's a design fault in the bulb holder and a bumper-off job to change the bulbs.
Also, they have just had a safety recall ... something about the brake pedal failing ... yikes (mines booked in for next Friday, won't use it 'til then, just in case)
also, when it's raining and you open the boot, you get fekkin soaked ... the rain runs straight off the back, down your neck.
But it goes like a missile, and corners like it's on rails ... enuff for me
my hubby sells new renaults and hes telling me that out of all the meganes he has sold in his three years there, he has never had one back with problems. he has had customers updating their meganes as they love them so much.
u dont need to remove the bumper to change the indicator bulb!!!! see if u turn the steering wheel and get down to the wheel look at the splash guard and u will see a cover which removes by a 1/2 turn then this allows u to get into the indicators bulbs, a bit akward but better than removing the bumper
