Indicators!!!!!!

Who else hates when you are sat waiting to pull out at an island and people don't indicate!!!!!!!!! or even worse they are indicating right and going left!!!!!!!!! sorry but like to have moan about that its my pet hate!!!! xxx

Yes I hate it when people don't indicate and it's not just when you're driving, it affects you when you're a pedestrian - I frequently go to cross, only to have to leap back when a non-indicating car turns out to be passing in front of me. I yelled "INDICATE!" at one git who did this and he gave me the finger.

I really detest this practice as well. I drive 35 each way to work and back and it makes me so cross.

Just as bad and probably deadlier are the idiots who overtake on the motorway without indicating. A number of times I have found indicated and started to change lanes, only to find someone behind starts to pull out without indicating. They usually flash there headlights at you as if you were the one in the wrong.

I generally find the standard of driving today very poor and totally inconsiderate. There is no courtesy. I have sometimes slowed down on a busy road to let someone out of a sideroad, only to find the suicide pilot behind making all sorts of wonderful gestures.

One of my pet hates is when im on the motorway in one of the overtaking lanes and just as your at the back of the car which is in the left hand lane, that car starts indicating to pull out!! Why cant they wait until I have got by them? It just confuses me and makes me hesitate as I dont know if he is actually going to ignore that im there and will pull out anyway, or if he is going to wait til I have got by! Very frustrating.

Ooh I know how you feel. I shoot them with my finger gun!! If it was allowed I would shoot all the indicators out on the non indicating cars with a real gun, lol, ohno i'm losin it a bit !!!!!
The worst ones are the B&%$!*!S who are in the wrong lane at a roundabout and the cut you up. Had this TOTAL A"�$!%&E the other day actually swerving across the road so that I could'nt get along side him to give him a mouthfull, and to make me all the more wound up then turned off at the next roundabout and went to the place he could have gone to if he had turned off in the first place instead of cutting me up!!!! GGGRRRRR.

The answer to Louise's problem is taught on the heavy goods vehicle drivers' course (and immediately forgotten by many of them). Start to signal when a vehicle is beside you; the driver will not react to the signal, but the next driver will get maximum warning.

I posed this question a few weeks ago as it drives me mad these people who will not use indicators. It should be an offence that police can stop drivers for and fine them - perhaps then people would use them!!!
