i think the best place for inc is www.insurancesupermarket.co.uk it sorces over 250 indepentand incs, of the chepist aroung is lancaster insurance so cheap am i'm only 21 monday i got mine for �400.00 thats with my husband driving it as well and the cars a fiat punto 55 s!!! with mods on wow unberliveable!!!

admiral/elephant are pretty cheap but just make sure you don't need to make a claim as they have an 'interesting' cancellation policy

Kramer - funny you're not the only person to have this problem. Elephant perported to cancel my policy (not for an accident) which following the ombudsman intervening resulted in them refunding me my money.

I also have a mate who is having problems with them following an accident, where they are refusing cover for dubious reasons. I am sure he'll get something out of them in the end, but they are trying to make things as difficult as possible.
