I have a 1981 Toyota Hiace campervan with a 1600 petrol engine. I've just had to get some new points and I don't know what to set the gap, Manuals & net sources are thin on the ground, so I'm turning to my old chums at the answerbank. Anybody help?

The best way to adjust your points is to use a dwell meter, more accurate than using feeler gauges.

Available here..............

or cheaper on ebay.
